What to expect

Come as you are

At Sun City Church, you'll find a life-giving community designed to help you encounter God, build lasting relationships, and step into the God-given purpose for your life.

You'll be greeted at the doors, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and have the opportunity to connect personally with a team member. Often people say they walk through our doors and feel right at home.

The inside scoop

What are services like? +

Each service begins with worship music and a short video explaining what's going on in our church community. One of our pastors or leaders will then share a hope-filled and relevant message, followed by a time of reflection and response. We usually wrap up around 75 minutes.

What should I wear? +

Most people wear jeans and dress casually at our church, including the pastors.

What about my kids? +

We are passionate about providing an energetic, faith-filled service that is tailor-made for your kids. When you check your kids into Sun City Kids, they'll have a safe, clean, and fun environment where they can learn to love Jesus with all their hearts. All of our Sun City Kids team are background checked. Learn about Sun City Kids.

What is the worship like? +

Our songs are current, upbeat, and celebratory, similar to what you might hear on a Christian radio station. We like to worship God with high-energy music, so if you have sensitive ears, our ushers can help you find the right spot or grab you a pair of earplugs.

Is there liturgy I should be ready to recite? +

Nope! You won't be unsure of what to do or say at any point during our service. Our pastors introduce themselves and provide simple instructions at the beginning, we sing a few songs (with words on the screen), and hear a message from Scripture.

How do I meet people or get involved? +

Our Next Steps class was created to help you get answers about who we are, what we believe, and how to get involved. It starts every Sunday at 12pm, right after our second service. Lunch and childcare are provided.

Do you have small groups? +

Yes! We have three semesters of Small Groups that meet throughout the region. In these groups, we gather around an activity or topic to encourage each other and grow in our faith together.
