Sun City Church ("we," "us," or "the church") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, including your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number, when you contact us, attend or register for an event, give a donation, create a profile in our church management system, or join a ministry team or volunteer role.

How we use your information

We use your information to communicate with you about the church and the ministries you participate in, to coordinate volunteer scheduling and team logistics, to process and acknowledge donations, and to provide pastoral care and follow-up.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile phone number to Sun City Church (for example, when you join a ministry team or enter it in your church profile), we may send you text messages related to that team or ministry, including rehearsal times and changes, service schedules, availability and scheduling requests, and reminders for meetings you are part of.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by asking us to remove your number. You may reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.

Donations

Donations are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store complete payment card numbers on our systems.

Children

We collect information about minors only from a parent or legal guardian, or with their permission, in connection with children's and youth ministry participation and safety.

How we protect your information

We limit access to personal information to staff and volunteers who need it to carry out their role, and we use the security features provided by the software systems we rely on. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party services

We use third-party software to operate the church, including church management, email, messaging, and giving platforms. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Contact us using the information below and we will honor your request.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
