A child dedication is a moment for parents to stand before God and their church family and commit to raising their child in faith. We would be honored to celebrate your family.
What it is
A promise, not a substitute for baptism
In the Bible we see that Jesus' parents dedicated Him to the Lord as a baby (Luke 2:22-40), and He was later baptized as an adult (Matthew 3:16-17). We follow that same pattern.
A dedication is a commitment between you and God on behalf of your child. You promise to raise them in the faith until they are old enough to make their own personal confession of Christ. When that day comes, we would love to baptize them.
