One time a year we bring a special offering.

As individuals, couples, and families, we come together to bring a gift that will outlast us and leave a legacy for future generations. We can do more together than we can individually. This is our opportunity to make a huge impact here in Spokane and throughout the world.

Together we accomplished a lot in 2019. Here are some of the highlights:

Even though we’ve accomplished so much this year, God has stirred us with vision for the days to come.  It is with a spirit of faith and anticipation that we invite you to pray about how you can be involved in our Legacy offering.

This offering will allow us to make a huge impact in the following strategic opportunities:

LOCALLY

There are ministry partners that need support as they meet the needs of the community here in Spokane. Specifically, we’ve decided to focus on our ministry partners who serve the homeless, hungry and at-risk children. This is an area that we believe rests close to the heart of God and we’re excited about the doors that are opening for greater influence.

NATIONALLY

We will continue to invest in planting more churches through ARC.  In total we have been able to give more than $25,000 towards planting new churches and we believe that God has called us to continue investing in this ministry.  We are convinced that there is no greater investment than planting a life-giving local church that has a heart to give to missions and will in turn invest in planting other churches.

INTERNATIONALLY

We’re working with Mannahouse Network to fund, train, and partner with church planting across the world. The specific target for the upcoming year is Asia and the opportunity we have to impact people groups that have been unreached by the gospel.

We’re also continuing our partnership with Bold Ventures, who are investing in the recruitment, training and sending of indigenous church planters to unreached people groups in Africa. This year, we where able to financially assist Bold Ventures as they where able to preach with local pastors in dozens of their villages and saw at least one person saved every day on average!

SUN CITY CHURCH

We are preparing to launch Sun City Leadership Academy in the fall of 2019. The focus will be to give young people a theological foundation and equip them to be an influence in whatever sphere God has called them to.

We have plans to remodel an area of the church to make available to First Responders on duty. This First Responders Room would provide food, beverages, a private and safe place to do paperwork, and resources to help kids or families in crisis.

This is what our upcoming Legacy Offering is all about: impacting the lives of people in Spokane, our nation and throughout the world. Together, once a year, we will bring a special offering – one that requires sacrifice and one that builds a legacy for future generations. This offering will enable us to take a giant leap forward in fulfilling the big opportunities God has placed before us.

We are asking everyone who is a supporter of our church - everyone whose life has been blessed by God through our ministry to join with us in this God-honoring dream. We are not asking you to invest in what we are already doing, but in what we could do.

Rather than several small asks throughout the year, every December we will dedicate one offering in order to meet these strategic needs.
As always, all we ask you to do is pray, and as God provides, do what’s in your heart.  

Paul said, “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”.  (2 Corinthians 9:7)
